Muslim Community Cultural Center of Baltimore

Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your access to and use of the MCCCB website, including online forms, communications, donations, purchases, registrations, and other website-based features.

Effective Date: September 21, 2026
Last Updated: September 21, 2026

01

Age Requirements and Parental Responsibility

Public information on the Site may be viewed by community members of different ages. However, the Site is intended to be operated through adults, parents, and legal guardians when a legally binding agreement, payment, registration, release, or consent is required.

  • A person must be at least 18 years old to independently make a purchase, make or authorize a donation, enroll in a paid program, register a child, sign a waiver or release, enter another legally binding agreement, or represent an organization through the Site.
  • A person between 13 and 17 may submit a general inquiry or another nonpayment form only when the form permits it and the person has permission from a parent or legal guardian.
  • A child under 13 must not submit personal information through the Site. A parent or legal guardian must submit information on the child's behalf.
  • Registration for children's events, weekend school, religious education, youth activities, and family programs must be completed or authorized by a parent or legal guardian unless MCCCB expressly provides a different lawful process.

Parents and legal guardians are responsible for supervising a minor's use of the Site and for the accuracy of information submitted on the minor's behalf. Age 13 is the threshold used in these Terms for limited online form submission; it does not mean that a 13-year-old may independently enter a contract or provide every type of legal consent.

02

MCCCB Activities and Website Information

MCCCB is a faith-based community organization that supports prayer, religious learning, cultural preservation, community connection, charitable activity, and service. Website content and online features may relate to:

  • Prayer services and religious gatherings;
  • Religious, cultural, and educational classes;
  • Children's events, weekend school, and youth programs;
  • Community events, meetings, outreach, and volunteer opportunities;
  • Fundraising campaigns, donations, memberships, and restoration efforts;
  • Facility information and visitor planning;
  • Community announcements, newsletters, and communications;
  • Merchandise or other items offered through an online shop; and
  • Other programs or services consistent with MCCCB's mission.

Program descriptions, schedules, speakers, instructors, locations, availability, fees, and other details may change. MCCCB may modify, postpone, relocate, suspend, or discontinue a Site feature, event, program, product, or service when reasonably necessary. When an event or paid program changes, any available refund, credit, or transfer will be governed by the policy disclosed for that transaction.

03

Program and Event Registration

You agree to provide accurate and current information when registering yourself or another person for an MCCCB activity. You may register a child only if you are the child's parent or legal guardian or have lawful authority and permission to do so.

MCCCB may require separate registration materials, emergency-contact information, health or allergy information, accessibility information, conduct expectations, parental consent, transportation authorization, or photo and video releases. Submission of a general website form does not replace any program-specific document.

Participation may be subject to space limitations, age or grade requirements, payment, safety rules, appropriate conduct, and other disclosed eligibility criteria. MCCCB may deny or end participation when reasonably necessary to protect participants, staff, volunteers, property, operations, or the community, subject to applicable law.

04

Donations and Charitable Contributions

Donations made through the Site are voluntary. MCCCB will provide acknowledgments or receipts when appropriate. Whether a contribution is tax-deductible depends on applicable law and the donor's circumstances; MCCCB does not provide personal tax or legal advice.

Unless a different policy is displayed at the time of the transaction:

  • Donations are generally final and nonrefundable;
  • MCCCB may review requests involving a duplicate charge, unauthorized transaction, processing error, or another exceptional circumstance;
  • A request for review should be made promptly using the contact information below;
  • Any donor restriction or designation is subject to MCCCB's acceptance and applicable charitable-use requirements; and
  • If a stated campaign or purpose becomes completed, unavailable, impracticable, or inconsistent with legal obligations, MCCCB may use the contribution for a substantially similar charitable purpose to the extent permitted by law.

Selecting a recurring donation authorizes MCCCB and its payment processor to charge the selected payment method at the stated interval until the authorization is canceled or otherwise ends. Cancellation stops future scheduled charges but does not ordinarily reverse charges already processed. Cancellation instructions should be provided on the donation form, receipt, or contact channel.

05

Purchases, Program Fees and Refunds

MCCCB may offer merchandise, tickets, registrations, memberships, classes, or other paid items. Prices, descriptions, availability, fulfillment terms, and any applicable refund or cancellation policy will be displayed at the time of the transaction or communicated for the particular offering.

You agree to provide accurate billing and contact information and authorize the disclosed charge. MCCCB may cancel or refund a transaction affected by an error, suspected fraud, unavailability, or other operational issue. Product appearance, color, packaging, or availability may vary from online images or descriptions within reasonable limits.

Donation terms do not automatically govern purchases or paid program registrations. Where MCCCB publishes a transaction-specific refund or cancellation policy, that policy controls.

06

Payment Processing

Online payments may be processed by Stripe or another third-party payment provider selected by MCCCB. The payment provider processes payment information under its own terms, privacy notice, and security practices. MCCCB generally receives transaction details and limited payment information rather than complete payment-card numbers.

MCCCB is not responsible for a payment provider's independent systems or conduct, but MCCCB will make reasonable efforts to address transaction questions within its control. Your use of a payment method must be authorized and lawful.

07

SMS Text Communications

If you provide a mobile number and give consent through an unchecked form checkbox or another documented opt-in method, you agree to receive SMS or text messages from MCCCB. Messages may include:

  • Responses to inquiries;
  • Event, class, program, worship-service, or volunteer information;
  • Registration confirmations and reminders;
  • Community, donation, campaign, or service announcements; and
  • Marketing or promotional messages when you have consented to receive them.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of donating, purchasing, registering, or receiving services. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. MCCCB may send one final message confirming an opt-out request. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information, and consent records will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. They may be shared with HighLevel, telecommunications carriers, messaging aggregators, and other service providers only as necessary to operate, deliver, secure, and support the messaging program or as required by law.

08

Email Communications

If you subscribe, register, donate, purchase, volunteer, or otherwise request communication, MCCCB may send confirmations, receipts, reminders, newsletters, event announcements, fundraising messages, and other relevant communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in a message.

An unsubscribe request does not prevent MCCCB from sending communications reasonably necessary to complete a transaction, administer a program, provide a safety or operational notice, or comply with law.

09

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects MCCCB, other users, and the community. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to an account, system, server, form, database, or restricted information;
  • Interfere with, damage, disable, overload, or disrupt the Site or its connected services;
  • Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, copy, or extract Site content or personal information without written permission;
  • Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, obscene, or unlawful content;
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, authority, affiliation, age, or relationship to a child;
  • Upload malware or harmful code;
  • Use the Site to violate another person's privacy, intellectual-property rights, or other legal rights;
  • Use Site contact information to send spam, unauthorized solicitations, or mass marketing; or
  • Use the Site in connection with fraud or another unlawful activity.
10

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its original text, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, branding, downloadable materials, layout, and design are owned by MCCCB or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and print reasonable portions of publicly available Site content for personal, noncommercial, and informational use. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit Site content without prior written permission, except as allowed by law.

References to third-party names, teachings, quotations, images, documents, trademarks, or other content remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing on the Site grants a license to use an MCCCB or third-party trademark except as expressly stated.

11

Information and Content You Submit

You are responsible for information, messages, images, reviews, testimonials, and other materials you submit. You represent that your submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have authority to provide it, and that it does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights.

MCCCB may use a submission to respond to your request, administer a transaction or program, maintain records, and perform the purpose disclosed when the information was collected. Submission of content does not automatically give MCCCB permission to publish a child's name, image, voice, or likeness. MCCCB should obtain a separate parent or legal-guardian release when public use of a child's photograph, video, or testimonial is contemplated.

Do not submit confidential, highly sensitive, or legally protected information through a general contact form unless MCCCB specifically requests it through an appropriate process.

12

Third Party Platforms and Services

The Site and MCCCB's online operations may use or connect with third-party services, including:

  • HighLevel or GoHighLevel and LeadConnector for website hosting, forms, customer-relationship management, workflows, email, SMS, and related technology;
  • Stripe or another payment processor for donations, purchases, and fees;
  • Google services such as reCAPTCHA, maps, analytics, video, or other embedded tools;
  • Social-media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube;
  • Email, telecommunications, cloud-storage, cybersecurity, domain, and technical-support providers; and
  • Other event, registration, education, or community-service platforms.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. MCCCB does not control and is not responsible for a third party's independent content, availability, security, policies, or actions. Use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider's terms in addition to these Terms.

HighLevel and related providers may process information on MCCCB's behalf to provide Site and communication functions. Stripe or another payment processor may independently collect the payment information needed to complete a transaction. Additional information appears in MCCCB's Privacy Policy.

13

External Links and Embedded Content

The Site may contain links to external websites or embedded maps, videos, social posts, documents, donation tools, or other content. Links are provided for convenience or information and do not necessarily constitute endorsement of every statement, product, service, or policy on the external site.

You access third-party websites and content at your own discretion and should review their applicable terms and privacy notices.

14

Informational and Program Disclaimers

MCCCB seeks to provide accurate and useful information, but Site content may contain errors, omissions, or information that becomes outdated. The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

MCCCB does not guarantee:

  • That all Site information is complete, current, or error-free;
  • Continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access to the Site;
  • That every program, product, event, speaker, service, or feature will remain available; or
  • That third-party services will operate without interruption or error.

Religious, educational, health, safety, tax, legal, or other general information on the Site is not a substitute for individualized guidance from an appropriately qualified religious leader, attorney, tax professional, healthcare professional, or other adviser when personal advice is needed.

Participation in an in-person activity may be subject to separate safety rules, consent forms, waivers, releases, and emergency procedures. These Terms do not replace those program-specific documents.

15

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MCCCB disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, duty, or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MCCCB and its officers, board members, employees, volunteers, contractors, and authorized representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or relating to the Site, including loss of data, loss of access, or reliance on Site information.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law and does not excuse gross negligence, willful misconduct, or another responsibility that the law does not permit MCCCB to disclaim.

Your rights concerning a donation, purchase, paid program, injury, or other specific activity may also be governed by applicable law and any transaction-specific or program-specific agreement.

17

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MCCCB and its officers, board members, employees, volunteers, contractors, and authorized representatives from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Site, your material violation of these Terms, your infringement of another person's rights, or content you submit without proper authority.

This section does not require indemnification for MCCCB's own gross negligence, willful misconduct, or conduct for which indemnification may not lawfully be required.

18

Suspension and Termination

MCCCB may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to a Site feature when it reasonably believes a user has violated these Terms, threatened security or safety, interfered with operations, engaged in fraud or unlawful conduct, or misused MCCCB systems or information.

Termination does not eliminate obligations or rights that arose before termination, including payment obligations, intellectual-property protections, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and other provisions that by their nature should continue.

19

Changes to These Terms

MCCCB may revise these Terms as its programs, Site features, service providers, or legal obligations change. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.

When required by law or appropriate because of a material change, MCCCB may provide additional notice. Continued use of the Site after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

20

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.

21

Severability and No Waiver

If a court with proper authority determines that a provision of these Terms is unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

MCCCB's failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive its right to enforce that provision or another provision later.

22

Entire Agreement

These Terms, the MCCCB Privacy Policy, and any applicable transaction-specific or program-specific terms form the agreement governing use of the Site and relevant online activity. They do not replace signed facility agreements, employment or volunteer agreements, school enrollment materials, waivers, releases, or other separate contracts.
